Oracle HCM Functional Administrator
Job Description:

The Oracle HCM Functional Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day functional administration, configuration, optimization, and support of the Oracle HCM Cloud platform. The role ensures the system remains secure, reliable, compliant, and aligned with approved business requirements. Working closely with HR, Finance, IT, and Oracle partners, the position supports system enhancements, security administration, testing activities, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7 AM – 4 PM (PH Time)

- Salary range: PHP 100,000 - 130,000
In this role, you will:
Oracle HCM Administration
- Administer Oracle HCM Cloud across approved modules and functionalities.
- Maintain and update system configurations according to business requirements and governance standards.
- Configure workflows, fields, forms, approvals, notifications, and Oracle Journeys.
- Assess Oracle quarterly releases and recommend applicable enhancements or configuration updates.
- Ensure all system changes are documented and traceable.
- Escalate platform, technical, or integration issues to appropriate support teams.
Configuration and System Optimization
- Review and optimize Oracle HCM configurations for effectiveness, consistency, and maintainability.
- Identify and remediate obsolete, duplicate, or inefficient configurations.
- Promote the use of native Oracle functionality and minimize unnecessary customizations.
- Improve workflows, approvals, notifications, forms, and employee lifecycle processes.
- Recommend automation opportunities to reduce manual HR administration.
- Advise stakeholders on suitable solutions through configuration, integrations, or connected systems.
Security Administration
- Manage Oracle HCM security roles, privileges, profiles, and data access controls.
- Support user access requests and security configuration updates.
- Conduct security reviews and identify inappropriate or excessive access.
- Maintain role-based access controls and least-privilege principles.
- Assist with audit requirements, access reviews, and compliance activities.
Employee and Manager Self-Service
- Configure and support employee and manager self-service functionality.
- Maintain Journeys, guided processes, approvals, notifications, and forms.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, employee changes, performance management, and workforce processes.
- Optimize Oracle Recruiting functionality for candidates, managers, and administrators.
- Improve user experience, system adoption, and self-service capabilities.
Testing, Release Management, and Support
- Develop and execute test scenarios for system changes and enhancements.
- Perform regression testing for Oracle quarterly updates.
- Participate in System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Validate configuration changes before deployment to production.
- Investigate functional issues and coordinate resolutions with technical teams and vendors.
- Support implementation and transition of new functionality into operational environments.
Documentation and Knowledge Management
- Maintain configuration registers and system documentation.
- Develop procedures, work instructions, and user guides.
- Document workflows, approvals, security settings, and system dependencies.
- Maintain release documentation and audit trails.
- Deliver knowledge transfer and support materials for internal stakeholders.
Collaboration and Continuous Improvement
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into Oracle HCM solutions.
- Collaborate with IT, enterprise applications teams, and Oracle partners.
- Monitor Oracle HCM platform developments and recommend enhancements.
- Contribute to the enhancement backlog and support prioritization activities.
- Provide subject matter expertise on Oracle HCM capabilities and best practices.
We're Looking for Someone Who has:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum three (3) years of hands-on experience in Oracle HCM Cloud administration, configuration, or consulting.
- Strong experience across Core HR and related modules such as Recruiting, Journeys, Performance, Talent Management, and Learning.
- UI configuration to optimize the system and functionality
- Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) Reporting
- Demonstrated experience configuring workflows, approvals, forms, notifications, security roles, and profiles.
- Experience supporting Oracle quarterly releases, testing activities, UAT, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Experience working with Oracle Support, implementation partners, or managed service providers.
- Experience within healthcare, government, defense, or other regulated industries.
Technical Skills:
- Oracle HCM Cloud Certification in one or more functional modules.
- Experience supporting Oracle Fusion environments across complex or multi-entity organizations.
- Experience in building technical data loaders (HDL) and Fast Formulas
- Experience supporting Australian and/or international organizations.
- Knowledge of Oracle integrations, APIs, SSO, and identity management.
Non-Negotiables:
- Strong understanding of translating business requirements into Oracle HCM solutions.
- Experience collaborating with IT teams and supporting cross-system integrations.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while supporting Australia-based stakeholders.
